I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Co-op (Bradford, Yorkshire and the Humber, England) in July 2022
Interview
First thing I would advice is read the email you get thoroughly. On the email they will talk about assessing you on 5 behaviors in the questions. Think about your examples before hand they literally question you on each one. These examples don't even need to be work related but helps. The interview I had they didn't look at a CV they are looking how you will fit into the group, so make your answers relatable. Ask them questions about the happiest and most important day they have had working for the company? Remember as much as they are looking for a customer member, you're also looking for a positive work environment.

Question 1
A difficult situation I was in where I needed to speak up?
Thank you for your review. Great feedback and hints and tips to help others prepare. It's so important to prepare for the interview, but also think about what you would want to know about the role and environment too.
I applied online. I interviewed at Co-op in June 2026
Interview
It was nice and smooth and very intuitive. I liked how I had help from the website to prepare for the interview and so I was able to fully explain my previous experience.

Question 1
Give me a time when you stood up for yourself or someone else
Very impersonal. All done online and the logic between what constitutes a good or bad answer is totally unidentifiable. You would have better luck turning up in person and asking if you can hand in your CV and interview in person instead!

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Co-op (Bournemouth, England) in May 2026
Interview
The interview process was very easy and straightforward. The interviewer was kind and made it feel more like a friendly, comfortable conversation than a formal interview. As well as one of the best interviews I've actually had.
