I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Collabera (Austin, TX) in Aug 2018
Interview
Recruited through linkedin, process involved a phone screen with recruiter and EVP, as well as an in person with the Sr. Partner and EVP. All seemed to go well, and I was told on more than one occasion that "they made up their mind, they want to hire me". After a week of dodgy responses from the corporate recruiter filling in, I was told that they decided to go with an individual with more sales/business development experience.
Although I've worked in sales for 7 years, I found the resulting decision to be very odd, considering there were 3 open roles instead of just one. A few days later, I discovered a former colleague of mine was interviewing at the same time, with every comment, discussion, and response scripted *LINE FOR LINE* the same at every step of the process.

Question 1
Questions were much more conversational, with intent geared towards culture fit.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Collabera (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2026
Interview
Very much led by you, you have to be an extremely interesting person. If you don’t have something that makes you stand out, this company isn’t for you. Very obvious in the first 30 seconds if they like you or not
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What’s the most interesting thing about you? That was the only question, based on how you answer that, they will ask questions
I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Collabera (Toronto, ON) in Sept 2024
Interview
Initial Approach by Talent Acquisition specialist via linkedin followed by 1st Pre-screen phone call by a Senior Talent Partner.
The Pre-screen call lasted about 20 minutes where the Senior Talent partner discussed the role in detail and asked about my experience relevant to the role. Post the interview, there was no update, no feedback and communication whatsoever. Highly unprofessional coming from a large corporation that too into staffing! A Staffing company that does not respect the interview process has a lot to learn.

Question 1
Take me through your experience as an Account Manager so far.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Collabera (Seattle, WA) in July 2024
Interview
Began with a phone screen, then moved to an entry first teams meeting with the local manager, then to an in person meeting and finally a teams meeting with the west coast manager. Personable interviewers with a high focus on conversation. Communication was prompt though no feedback shared towards the end.
