I believe I was an incredible fit for the position. The first time I submitted my resume I received a email in less than 24 hrs stating I wasn’t a good fit. I thought this was ridiculous because I was a really good fit, so I resubmitted my application the next week. Then I received an email requesting I set up a meeting with HR. When I had the meeting with HR, the representative really knew nothing about the position and even when she read the job description she could not speak intelligently about the position and actually stated that the person hired wouldn’t be doing job duties that the job description stated. The description was written with slightly different wording, but it showed that HR is screening for this position and they really don’t know enough about the position. Ultimately, the position’s pay did not meet my needs. However, the main point is that HR at Collective Health is screening out candidates that are likely really qualified so the hiring managers are probably not getting to interview the best candidates.
