I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at ComEd (Oak Brook, IL) in Jan 2021
Interview
Very long and tedious. Went through an automated interview, phone interview, on-site test, zoom interview, filled out a questionnaire and still wasn’t offered the position. I’m a white female and I think they wanted a more diverse candidate. It is an entry level position.
Applied in December and was contacted for the role 5 months later. Received a phone call from HR to complete a simple assessment test, once passed I was given a phone interview. After the phone interview was successful I was invited in for another assessment test but this test is timed and a little more difficult but not that hard. Once that assessment test is passed I was given a F2F (face-to-face) interview on the spot with 2 of ComEd's employees (manager's). About a week later I received an email stating I was successful and to complete background check which consisted of credit, employer, high school/college check and drug testing. Once I passed the background check and drug testing I received my CJO.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What was the most difficult experience you had with a customer and how did you handle it?
I applied online. I interviewed at ComEd in Sept 2013
Interview
STAR Method. ask several questions about previous job experiences. You also take a timed text to determine flow on a computer. The interview was easy compared to the 2 week training were you are tested 4 times thru the 2 weeks and if you recieve a grade below 85% you are virtually fired on the spot
