I applied through other source. I interviewed at CommIT (Israel) (Ramat Gan) in Jan 2026
Interview
We talked about a recommendation system based on factorization machine model.
He asked what can I do if I have implicit feedback instead of explicit ?
Can you use both implicit and explicit feedback ?
Next he asked about my personality.
Where do I see myself in 5 years?
How can I help you get there?
First had phone screening and then coding assignment - which was 2 leet code challenges on hard level and general python questions. The questions were easy but leetcode was extremley hard and showerd the company had no idea what candidate they are looking for and just randomly gave 2 leetcode question to filter candidates out. It's not professional especially as requirements didn't say how many years of experience with python needed.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CommIT (Israel) (Petah Tikva) in June 2025
Interview
The best interview experience I’ve had so far!
I had an initial screening with the recruiter, followed by an interview with the Hiring Manager. After discussing my experience, we did a short product sense simulation. I was impressed to receive detailed feedback immediately after the session — which is quite rare.
Later that day, I received a home assignment, but I ended up getting an offer from another company and had to withdraw my candidacy at CommIT.
Overall, I was very happy with the process. The hiring team left a great impression and truly made me feel respected and valued.
