Compliance Disovery Services interview questions

Hiring manager looked disinterested in interviewing right from the beginning. I asked what the next steps would be if I happen to move forward- she said you will next chat with the director "who can pull the strings". They made me feel I was taking unofficial advantage for some reason though hqving told I have an impressive background. Also, I was rejected before the interview with director though I was told I will be speaking to him next. However, the recruiter was very helpful and responsive.
