I was contacted by a recruiter via email after applying for Distribution Center Manager on LinkedIn. The email told me I had to complete a profile on their site and send most current copy of my resume, along with desired salary and position applied for.
After following the link, and following their instructions, there was no clear way to create a profile. After several back and forth emails of myself asking the recruiter for more clarity on how to create a profile (which she typically only replied with short, one sentence answers saying "I can't review your resume until you create a profile")
I finally got a longer reply out of the recruiter, which it turned out I needed to apply again to the position I previously applied for already, in order to create a profile. Except, there were not titles matching the one I had already applied for. I brought this to the recruiter's attention, which I received my final one-liner email stating "Those are The positions that are still open ".
I briskly sent a kind and professional email asking to be removed for consideration for the position, as this has been an absolute mess of an experience, and I do not want to be affiliated with this organization.
