I recently had a job interview experience that left me quite disappointed and frustrated -
To begin with, the HR department failed to reply on time. I had to send multiple follow-up emails just to receive a response after every stage of interview.
- In the First round with HR interview she did not turned the camera on and it was super quick with very basic questions.
- During the second part of the interview, I noticed that the interviewer seemed more interested in talking about herself and her past job experiences than assessing my skills and qualifications for the role.
- The most frustrating part of the interview came during the final round. She asked me about the connections on my LinkedIn profile, probing for personal information and demanding explanations for each line i have mentioned in my resume. This approach was highly unprofessional and made me uncomfortable.
- I felt like investigation than interview.
- When i asked her about the future opportunities and long term growth at connected kerb, She said i cant guarantee anything. the answers were very strange.
- She also said that we are not going to provide any training, you will be on your own from first day and we have a lot of pending work to finish as two employees have left back to back.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Connected Kerb (London, England)
Interview
My first contact was a HR call, the lady was very informative and really nice. It didn't feel like an interview and was more of a conversation about what i was looking for and about the company. My 2nd call was with a gentleman who went into detail about the role and explained the dynamics of the company. Although i wasn't offered the role i feel this type of interview process is commendable, its short and straight to the point. From first point of contact they made me feel comfortable and was able to answer all my questions. You can tell they really enjoy working at the company

Interview
Had a phone call with there internal recruiter who then put me through to a first stage interview. First stage interview was with a Project Director which went really well and I was out through to a second interview. Was told I would be contacted to get it booked in and have heard nothing since. I even chased the internal recruiter for some feedback and still complete radio silence..
