I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Covalent Networks (Boston, MA) in July 2023
Interview
People were generally pleasant to speak with. The follow-up process on next steps after each interview was non-existent. I had to follow up with them to get a response and waited for weeks before I heard back from someone. CEO definitely made the interview process bad and I felt like he had a bias even though I was well qualified for the position. Wouldn't recommend this company to an engineer.

Question 1
Q: Even though this position is an individual contributor role, would you be open to a leadership position in the future?

Interview
-- all major red flags
-- interview started with the interviewer just blabbering on about how complicated and great the company is
-- after about 15 minutes of just pure explanation of the company, you still feel pretty clueless about what they do. even after extensive research on the company.
-- say they have fortune 500 clients, but was not allowed to name any of them
-- then named 1 company Polaris.
-- didnt ask any questions about my experience, said that would be for the next interview if they want to move forward with me.
-- all to end with him asking me my salary expectations
-- said they currently don't have a set budget for the role and they want to coordinate the salary with what the people they interview ask for... then create the budget
