I interviewed at CrossCountry Consulting (McLean, VA) in Apr 2017
Interview
I was contacted through LinkedIn for a Risk and Advisory role with the firm. After discussing my past experience and where I wanted to end up, the TS team seemed like more of a fit. I went through a phone interview with the TS talent acquisition team, a technical interview and a four person interview.
What sold me on this company was the amount of support and comfort the talent team provided to their candidates. They were always following up with you and answered any question you could possibly have. In addition to the talent team, every person I met was humble, extremely personable and welcoming. It wasn't about all the experience you had, it was about 'are you a good fit for this company and the people.'

Coming from an Internal role, what made you decide to come to the client facing side?

Interview
The interviews were pretty straight forward, the technical round was vague. I got rejected despite being competent, got better offers from other places. Honest opinion: they seem to value communication skills and behavioral stuff a lot even if you are technically sound. Focus on impressing them on the behavioral even if you don't have any achievements.
