This particular interview was completed over 3 stages, which took 3 months to complete due to conflicting schedules and the Christmas holiday period.
1st Interview: Was with the hiring manager which went quite well, as I was asked how I felt about attending a second interview.
2nd Interview: I met with the same hiring manager from the first interview and another manager within the team who was also recruiting for the role. Again it went well the conversation flowed and all seemed quite positive and they stated they want me to come back for a final stage to complete a task. Although they haven't decided what the task was yet. ***it took them about a week or just over to send to me***
3rd Interview: I presented the findings from the task given and throughout the interview they both seemed very engaged and agreed with the points I was raising and also asked me many questions, which I answered confidentially.
After my third interview they advised, they wanted to interview everyone before providing feedback and stated it would take 1 - 2 weeks to get a response.
In the second week I received an automated email to advise I was not successful. Not only was I disappointed that I didn't get the role, but more so disappointed that I didn't receive any sort of feedback. Seeing as I had put in a lot of time to attend and prepare for the interviews at hand, you'd think getting feedback would be already part of the process.
I've been chasing for nearly 2 weeks now and the resourcing officer, has called me during work hours on two occasions - after I asked for a scheduled call so I can ensure I'm available to answer.
Probably the worst post-interview experience I've had and frankly happy I wasn't employed, by a company who treats people in such manner.
