Applied online which followed with three interviews over a month long process. Initially received a pleasant phone call from the company's HR who asked some technical questions ranging from basic software to kinematics to control theory. Next I was called by the hiring manager who asked only questions regarding most recent work experience. I did not enjoy this interview as the interviewer kept interrupting me and overall came off a bit arrogant. I was surprised to receive a follow up onsite interview at their headquarters. During this interview, I was interviewed by the control engineers on the would be project. A number of these people were also more than 10 minutes late, including the hiring manager who offered no apology. This interview was comprised of an initial description of the role and project followed by a detailed analysis and discussion of my most recent work experience. The same hiring manager seemed only interested in what I knew on top of my head and tried to wrongly discredit how I approached several of my past controls problems which really irritated me. Finally, I was asked several software and physics brain teasers after which the team informed me they would not be moving forward with my application. I was happy to anyhow inform them that I had an offer elsewhere.
