I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at DOT CARDS in July 2024
Interview
5 weeks long, 5 rounds, not sure if the team spoke to each other or were well coordinated as some questions were asked multiple times, and then the final interview had the CEO ask me specific questions about their current problems and some brainstorming on how to start addressing. At this point I was told I had the job, so I didn't have a problem with the consulting thinking I was just getting a jump-start on the job. The take-home before at least was adjacent to their current situation and so wasn't directly applicable but the final interview I think would be problematic considering how much consulting was basically provided to them. I'd avoid this company as it seems like they might be bait-and-switch with offers or they're potentially interviewing to get free consulting or they might not clear on their direction.

Here is our current support setup and challenges - what would you do to start improving this?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DOT CARDS
Interview
They kicked things off with a behavioral interview, and afterward, the recruiter outlined the next phases, starting with a take-home assignment that they thought could be finished in around 3 hours. Despite my experience with React.js, tackling the assignment took me over 2 days. Once I wrapped up the task, I sent it in via email. The CEO reached out, mentioning that they'd reveal the upcoming steps within a week. As the week rolled on, there was no word from them. Two weeks later, I dropped a follow-up about what was coming next. Their response was disappointing – they had already moved on to other candidates, but unfortunately, they didn't provide any insights into my take-home assignment or the reasons for not moving forward.
