I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at DaVita (Portland, ME)
Interview
The entire process is exactly as they describe on their website. First, you apply online and take a personality quiz, then a recruiter calls to setup up a phone interview. The phone interview was pretty basic (confirm that you're a qualified applicant and review the job description) and lasted about 15 minutes. Next, they'll schedule a panel interview with some facility admins (maybe a nutritionist/social worker too). They'll send you instructions before the interview to help you prepare. My interview was with 4 people and each asked 2 behavioral interview questions. After I answered all the questions I asked 4-5 questions of my own. Next step was a scheduled job shadow for 3 hours. Following that, I received a job offer and soon after had to pass a background check and drug test. The whole process took about 2 months because between each step of the process was sometimes a 1-2 week wait.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you went above and beyond at work.
Interesting, the interviewer was very enthusiastic and supportive. They really emphasized communicating calmly with coworkers and helping prioritize tasks. It was a very humbling interview, despite how easy-going the interviewer was.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DaVita (Orlando, FL) in Nov 2025
Interview
I applied to DaVita even after seeing many negative reviews from current and former employees, hoping my experience would be different. Unfortunately, it confirmed what I had already read.
Throughout the hiring process, I tried to be as flexible as possible. After completing the first interview as well as a 1.5-hour job shadow (which gave me the impression I was moving forward), I was told they were selecting another candidate because I “wasn’t flexible to float around to different clinics.” I clearly stated to the manager that I was willing to travel to other clinics if needed. Despite that, This explanation felt inconsistent with what I had communicated from the beginning.
The lack of transparency and clear communication made the entire process feel unprofessional and misleading. I invested my time and effort based on expectations they set, only to be given a reason that didn’t align with the facts.
If you are considering applying here, I would advise looking into other dialysis companies first.

Interview
The interview process was pretty straightforward. Initial recruiter phone call, on-site preview of the clinic and talk/interview with the facility administrator after. Whole process took about a month or so. Recruiter checked in a few times as well.
