I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DaVita in July 2015
Interview
Applied, contacted by recruiter, screened by recruiter, contacted by HR, interviewed by HR...and it stopped. Recruiter was impressed, but I don't think the HR person took my experiences and qualifications as seriously as they should have. I was surprised...I am confident I would have done well interviewing with others if this HR person would have allowed.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Behavioral Questions, mostly on leadership and management (seems these are areas of high focus...and now a red flag to me about DaVita). Questions about how to work/deal with doctors and staff when clinical outcomes and results were not being attained (again, the underlying theme served as a red flag of what to expect if successfully employed). Makes me wonder if there are underlying problems with dynamic leadership and relationships within the clinics and regions too.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DaVita (New York, NY)
Interview
Recruiters explained process well. Behavioral interview, case interview, then case presentation. There was about a week at each phase and main recruiter was helpful. I completed the behavioral virtually then did a meet and greet on site with leaders
Case study presentation, then panel behavioral interview. Difficulty level varies, cultural fit and business acumen very high in priorities. Overall difficult interview with several questions specific to a hypothetical situation and not a lot of context.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at DaVita (Wilmington, NC) in May 2025
Interview
Multiple rounds of interviews, it’s clear the company has a very specific culture… the process seems to seek folks that are fully inline with that culture vs patient care. Some really smart empathetic people, but I never bought into the culture fit, it didn’t feel genuine to be frank.
