I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Decathlon (Montreal, QC) in Oct 2018
Interview
Altought the position seems very interesting, the interview process was not optimal :
- The interviewer did not show up at the first interview, and the meeting had to be rescheduled.
- During the second interview, I was presented with a position that was not actually the one I was applying for. I was informed later on the phone that this was a communication error.
The worst part however is that I was ultimately offered a position and given a few days to make a decision. Then, after I had already pulled out of all my other interview processes, I was informed by Decathlon that they were pulling the offer.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Decathlon (Paris) in June 2021
Interview
Interviewer contacted me, even though I applied for a different job. She then went on a vacation without leaving any feedback. She called me later just to say "call me next year and we will see" and "this is not how we do interviews". Advice, If you're a cheerful positive person, this company is certainly not for you. Very stiff, bureaucratic environment.

2 recruteurs, ils cherchaient un profil ingénieur, différent de d'habitude, ce qui était plutôt bien pour ma part, mais il y a une grosse part d'informatique, ce qui n'était pas très clair au téléphone
