I understand that they try to select candidates who are interested in sports and matching the brand identity of Decathlon, however it is strange that those type of questions are too much in the center of the interview. I had more sports & personal life questions than business-related ones. The methodology of interview was different as well. After approximately 1 hour of 1:1 talk with the department manager, a team member came in and I was requested to tell the same things to her. Apparently the department manager was trying to do a cross-interview, but the person she had no idea about how to do an interview (or even how to approach new people in the workplace) I have a gut feeling that they were trying to apply an "interview techniques" training they previously received, but unfortunately they were just being rude with candidates.
