The application was a 3 step process. After applying, I had a call with the team lead to talk about the company and also my experience. Then I was given a take-home assignment on building a functional order system. The last step in this process was an interview with the team lead and the CTO after the successful completion of the task.

Build an application that allows a user to register, login and create orders consisting of multiple products. The application would send an email and SMS notification to the user for each order they create with details of the items selected.

The interview was very focused on the core deliverables with the capacity to unearth the right skills and experience to deliver. I so much loved the session because the format followed relevant and applicable scenarios (case studies). This probably the best way to identify the right candidates for jobs.
