      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Detroit Labs in Mar 2020

      Interview

Total of 3 rounds. I only made it to the first in-person interview round. Note: There is a chance that Detroit Labs employees will review your GTKY form so they'll have an idea of the personal information/responses you already provided. Round 1 was a group session with speed dating style breakouts to speak with employees who asked interview questions. The facilitator broke up 4 groups of candidates that were split into smaller groups over 2 days of interviews. Two groups per day in evening timeslots early was 6:30 pm and late was 7:30 pm. The entire session was approximately 50 minutes long. During my experience they had stations marked 1-8. Candidates had 6 -7 minutes to answer questions. Not all stations could be visited however this may have been by design. At the very end, the facilitator explained the next steps to everyone. Round 2 was a technical/team working session assessing problem-solving skills. Final Round 3 was another session relating to technical/team working.
