Relatively straight-forward interview process. Quite relaxed and easy going which I appreciated. Nice and friendly. CEO was in and out which was a little off-putting but maybe this was intentional.

Interview
I applied for the role through their website, but didn't hear back for a couple of weeks. I was delighted when I got an email by the Senior Editor requesting a Skype interview (since I am not located in Berlin), and we arranged for a call about 10 days later. This was a very pleasant and somewhat informal chat with her and another Editor, focussing on my professional background and how I could fit in with them, as well as their setup and philosophy. They emphasised that it'll take 1-2 weeks to make a decision but I felt somehow encouraged by them expressing I might also be a good fit for another opening.
After three weeks I sent a friendly follow-up email asking for an update, but never heard back. I quite like their portfolio, but I consider not getting back to an interviewee bad practice.
