Digital Trans interview questions

The interviewer has this condescending tone when they're talking. No Hi, No introduce themselves, nothing. They seem so disinterested since the beginning of the interview. Just straight to the point. Despite that I successfully passed the written test, I need to verbally translate the long text on the spot without reading it first to test proficiency. Which is weird because as translator you need to understand the context first and localized the terms according to the target language for better accuracy. Never have I ever encountered this kind of test.

Quite curious are they hiring translator or interpreter. Even after you passed the written test, you will be asked for another interview session, requesting you to translate a paragraph on the spot.
