I had interviewed for the company back in November for a different role (Systems Analyst), and I was selected. But, the part went on hold because of internal problems.
Later in February, I was approached by the hiring manager for the Payroll Specialist role and asked whether I was keen on taking on the part. I said, Yes.
They had asked me for my Security Clearance documents, but as days passed by, they just treated me as if I had no value or my worth was zero! HR/TA added the role on LinkedIn and kept me as a backup. They didn't even let me know and hired someone else. They skipped me as if I didn't exist. After sending a follow-up email, I still didn't receive anything. Even if an interview were taken and then rejected me, I would happily accept that. But, that was not the case towards the end. I had to put up an aggressive email towards their HR to let them know they do not know how to function, and keeping a candidate waiting for a MONTH!! It wasn't acceptable. I have come across very often in Dubai that recruiters are bad! They do not know the basic rules and how to acknowledge an email from a candidate. I would suggest being careful when you apply to this company (Digital14) as I have heard a lot of bad politicals and the working hours are 12-13 per day. Its hell! (coming from a good friend who has worked there).
