You will get shut down if they feel you are nervous and will reject you in a heart beat. No other questions and will just you shut down. You’ll get told how the recruiter has been doing their job for xyz years, how high the turnover rate is for the job is due to how repetitive (they use the term “high volume”) it is, how persuasive recruiters are with HR and even if HR decided to proceed through you would get drilled by them, and how much of a bad fit you are for the job.
I have never in my career in the Optometry and Ophthalmology field experienced an interview where well rounded experience does not matter at all. If you lack in one aspect, they will REFUSE and DENY you training, per the interview.
If you care about building patient relations, supporting doctors, and giving excellent patient care this job or have experience doing so this job is NOT for you. You are a robot and do one job and one job only. For pay below average with no raises (made very clear in the interview and in emails) it is not worth it.
It was a great learning experience to never sink so low.
