Interview
I was emailed almost a week after sending my application with information to schedule a phone interview and complete a questionnaire. Unfortunately this was sent to my junk mail folder, but I received a call from them 10 days later with a number to contact them so I checked my mail and found the information needed and scheduled the phone interview. I received the call 15 minutes after the scheduled time (which I had expected) and the interviewer was polite enough to ask if I still had time to talk. Before we hung up about 20 minutes later, we scheduled an on site interview for the next day and she told me to research more on the company. It paid off in the on site interview. I interviewed with the same person on the phone and in person, and the interview lasted about an hour. She asked the normal interview questions and at the end we did a flash card exercise discussing 12 traits from my strongest to weakest. Usually the next step would be to schedule with the hiring manager. She was due into the building 30 minutes after the end of the interview, and the interviewer asked if I'd like to wait till she got there to talk to her. I did, and the interview lasted about 45 minutes. They told me to expect to hear back in 10 business days, but within an hour I got a phone call with an offer for the position. Very easy process, very relaxing environment.

Interview
Applied online on 3/9/15. They sent me a email the next day to take a assessment and schedule a phone interview. They called me a minute before my scheduled phone interview time and asked me about my previous jobs like why did I leave the company why do I want to leave my current employer why did I decide to apply for the job with discover. Went over the job description and a little more details about the position. The phone interview last for about 10-15 mins. At the end of the call we scheduled a in person interview for the next day. I got there 15 mins early and met with the recruiter for about 20 mins. They ask you pretty much the same as the phone interview go over the earliest and latest time u can work tell u the pay and the benefits. You have to place 12 cards in 3 Columns of 4. First row what are u absolutely great at then the 2nd row then the 3rd what could u use improvement on. Cards say things like multi-tasker responsible hardworker level headed enthusiastic achiever etc. Then u meet with the hiring manager for about an hour. He ask the harder questions but not to hard you're asked to role play and some basic interview questions like why discover? Why should we hire you? What do u like most about ur current job etc. at the end they tell u you'll hear back in 3-5 business days. Phone call = good news email = bad news. I got the phone call on day 4! YAY! Lol my advice is to relax be like(able) make them laugh be yourself and DO YOUR RESEARCH ABOUT THE COMPANY AND THE JOB YOU APPLIED FOR! Good luck!
