Overall Assessment
The process required considerable time and deliverables over nearly two months but concluded without feedback or a formal outcome. Candidates considering Byborg Enterprises should be prepared for a multi-stage sequence with extended delays, significant take-home work, minimal two-way interaction—even at senior levels—and the possibility of no response after the final interview.
Interview Process (April – June 2025)
Recruiter phone screen – 24 Apr – 45 min
Limited detail on responsibilities, reporting line, or compensation.
Take-home case study assigned – 24 Apr
One-week deadline; ~10-12 hrs to build a five-slide U.S. market-entry plan.
Case study submitted – 29 Apr
Functional interview (Alliances Manager) – 8 May – 1 hr
Structured, one-way Q&A; no time for candidate questions.
Leadership interview (CEO + Assistant Manager) – 19 May – 1 hr
Presented case study using interactive sales-presentation techniques (pauses, audience questions). Both interviewers were silent after their brief introductions; no questions about methodology or recommendations. Positive discussion began only when I initiated it. CEO noted they would use several ideas internally.
Follow-up emails – 2 Jun & 12 Jun
Two courteous status checks; no response (process ended in ghosting).
Total investment:
≈ 3 h live interviews
15 – 17 hrs unpaid preparation
≈ 7 weeks elapsed time (24 Apr → 12 Jun)
≈ 23 days of idle waiting between rounds
