We’d like to clarify that Dog and Pony Studios is a Canadian company, and our design team is made up of talented professionals from several countries, not exclusively from any one region. English proficiency is required for all of our roles, but Portuguese (or any other language) is not a hiring factor. We evaluate every candidate based on skill, experience, and fit for the work.
We also want to note that our hiring process is entirely human-reviewed. We don’t use AI screening tools because we believe every candidate deserves fair and thoughtful consideration. The trade-off is that this can sometimes make the process a little longer, but we’re continually working to improve both our speed and communication.
We understand how much time and effort goes into applying and interviewing, and we strive to make that experience respectful and worthwhile for everyone. We’ve also followed up directly to ensure any miscommunication was addressed personally.
