The interview process went overall well. Has three to four steps. First I met with the store manager. That overall went well. He explained the operations of the store and showed me around. Then came the second interview with the MCO. That interview led me to evaluating the store on a busy night. After reviewing the store that night I was told to email him and tell him about my impression. From there I had an interview with the DCO.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Domino's (Kings Store, IN) in Jan 2018
Interview
I was first given a short phone interview, basic stuff. Do you have reliable transportation that’s covered with verifiable insurance? Do you have restaurant experience?
I was then invited for an in person interview. Thankfully the GM I interviewed with was very upfront. But the job posting is very misleading. You do not start training in the store as a GM. A general manager in training, upon completion of a successful background check, will then enter a six months to one year training program with the pay starting at 7.25. Then at the end of the program they decide if they want to hire you as a General Manager. I was then told the average general manager only makes $13.50 an hour. I currently make much more than that, so I declined moving forward in the process.
