First and foremost, I found the interview process to be exceptionally slow. After successfully completing two rounds of interviews, I was requested to provide references. Subsequently, I was asked to speak with your Vice President, which I gladly did. Following that conversation, I was then asked to undergo an examination to assess my skills and knowledge. Despite performing well on the exam, I did not receive any updates or feedback regarding my application for an extended period of two to three weeks. Finally, after weeks of anticipation, I received an email stating that the position was on hold. I must admit that I was taken aback by this news, especially after investing considerable time and effort into the interview process. This lack of timely communication and the sudden hold on the position reflects a significant level of unprofessionalism on the part of Dragonfly Energy. As a candidate, I understand that circumstances may change, and unexpected developments can occur within a company. However, it is crucial to manage candidates' expectations and provide regular updates throughout the process. Transparent and timely communication is essential to maintaining a positive candidate experience, even when unforeseen circumstances arise. I must express my disappointment in the overall handling of the interview process. The lack of professionalism and communication has left me with a negative impression of the company. I hope that you will take this feedback constructively and use it to improve your interview process in the future. Clear and timely communication, along with respect for candidates' time and effort, will help establish a positive reputation for your company and enhance the candidate experience.
