I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Duo Security
Interview
I couldn't have asked for a better hiring experience. The recruiting team was very communicative throughout the entire process.
The interview process was well thought out and you get the ability to speak with your future team members which provides more insight into the role.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Duo Security (Ann Arbor, MI) in July 2015
Interview
The entire process took about 3 weeks. I first talked with their recruiter, Courtney, who was awesome to talk to and got me excited about the 'security industry.' I say that because this wasn't an industry I would typically consider but they have created such a cool and easy to use product that companies are finding valuable. I then had about 3-4 phone interviews/ calls with VP's and current employees, including the CEO which I thought was a nice touch. Afterwards, they flew me to their office in Michigan which was really nice to see the buzzing collaboration, energy and fun they had as a team. I spent all day there getting the opportunity to meet, one on one, with about a dozen employees at various levels. I liked that because it gave me a good mix of personalities to meet and allowed me to feel as if I was interviewing them as much as they were interviewing me. About two days after flying back from the onsite interview I received an offer. I didn't accept the offer only because I had another offer from a younger company and different industry which is what I'm looking for at this stage of my career. I didn't have any concerns about the people or their product and highly recommend them. Again, I thought that everyone was professional, fun and driven and having talked to almost 20 companies in my job search, Courtney and the team at Duo really stood out to me.

Question 1
Many of the people I met shared conversations about their experience with Duo, which for me was really helpful! I got asked other questions about my previous experience and accomplishments. Overall, it was a pleasant experience to have real conversations with everyone I met.
