I was approached by a recruiter on LinkedIn and was given a date and time for a phone interview. I never received the call. I reached out to the recruiter 2 hours after the call was supposed to happen, and she got back to me two days later to reschedule due to illness (she did not send a message or email stating she was sick that day). She calls me the next week and I move onto the second stage. Well, the developers never called me. I once again reached out to the recruiter to say I never received the call with the developers and was rescheduled for the next day. The phone interview with the developers went well. I then had to complete a technical interview and was extremely new to coding (it was also my first technical interview), and with the already stressful process of these interviews, I did not do well. It was a lot of time wasted, but I learned a few things. If your interview is extremely disorganized and the interviewers not only don’t show up or send a courtesy message, but also don’t get back to you for days, it’s best to move on.
