I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Echo Hospitality (Burien, WA) in Nov 2016
Interview
Pretty simple. They interview at Starbucks though. It's a bit busy, hard to concentrate, etc. It took a while to hear back from my resume submittal though (about four months went by)
It was a group interview which went really well we all went around and told a little about ourselves and why we want to work there. We practices things such as tray passing and setting tables that would prepare us for being a server
Thanks for the positive feedback! I think you're recalling the orientation and training session that was held AFTER being offered a position on our team. Our orientation is held in a group setting, however, our interviews are always conducted in a 1 on 1 setting so we can get to know each applicant individually.
Sincerely,

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Echo Hospitality (Burien, WA) in July 2017
Interview
I met with the (former) hiring manager Christina at a Starbucks in Burien. She asked general questions about my work experience and knowledge of banquet serving, and inquired about my availability. She asked me to bring 1 - 3 references to the interview. When the interview ended, she told me she would check my references and get back to me within a few days. I got a message an hour later offering me the job!

Question 1
What would I do if I noticed people were giving speeches during an event but there were still lots of dishes that needed to be bussed?
