I applied online. I interviewed at EdConnect Australia
Interview
1. Apply online 2. Receive a couple of timeslots for the interview 3. Attend the interview - They ask about your previous work history, why EdConnect, ask about your interests as some volunteers come into school and just spend time with students working on their interests. They will ask which schools you would like to volunteer at (you won't always get the school/s you want but I did so it just depends). Overall, I found it to be very thorough for a volunteer position as I had volunteered at schools in the past without using EdConnect but it was positive.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would students look for in a volunteer? Tell me about a time when you used (skill or attribute here, e.g. initiative, teamwork or leadership skills, etc.)? Why EdConnect?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at EdConnect Australia (Melbourne) in Dec 2020
Interview
The interview is very informal and laid back, the interviewer made me feel comfortable and gave plenty of opportunity for me to ask questions too. It took place over Zoom.
