Firstly it's to send an email with cv and cover letter enclosed, to state you are interested in interning at Edelman. then after a while (usually depends their headcount/availability), the hr replied my email and asking for an interview at their office. it was simple and basic, and they are nice and welcoming.
2 rounds; overall straightforward with relatively standard questions for an internship. However the internship is competitive lots of people apply to this internship but it’s a great experience I enjoyed it

Interview
Online written task on press release and social media post drafting. Can finish it in one hour. After that will be in person interview with managers. Interview questions are easy and casual.

Interview
Only did the first round which was a phone screening. Recruiter didn't seem that engaged and sounded like they were in a rush to get off the phone. Communication via email is quick though, and they're transparent about the process and updates so that's a plus.
