I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Edward Jones (Fort Collins, CO) in July 2024
Interview
Extensive and unnecessary- asked really weird questions and definitely painted a different picture of what the role requires. After the interview they sent me this insane personality test that took about 45 mins to complete and was pretty mentally draining. Like the same questions over and over but slightly different wording. All these situational questions that wouldn't have applied to my role anyways. The guy I interviewed with also took a personal call mid interview. Just felt like I was going to be his personal assistant- not so much an administrator. He wanted someone that could work alone and run his office, never ask to WFH or take time off- to complete personal errands for him as well. No thanks.

Question 1
They asked me what a common misconception about me is...
I am interviewing with them and so far so good. I did 5 steps and now I am waiting to see if I get an offer or not. It was very difficult but they were very nice during the interviews.
Digital interview first, if you advance, then a screening call from the recruiter. If you advance, then you meet the recruiter/ FA over Zoom. They see if you'd be a good fit at the office by asking situational questions.

Interview
The on demand interview and the phone interview with the recruiter were easy to complete. I'm looking forward to the Zoom interview and the next steps in the interview process.
