I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company (Indianapolis, IN) in Mar 2010
Interview
A Lilly representative came to our campus for recruiting. I went to her presentation and expressed my strong interest in the Lilly position. She said it was impressive for someone to come to a 8am meeting on a Friday morning. I think she was impressed with my passion. So she took my resume to the hiring manager. I got a call a few weeks later from him for a phone interview. Then he told me he would like to invite me for an on-site interview, which consisted of group interviews and a presentation. About two months later I got the offer.
All the Lilly people I met during the interview were very polite and professional except one woman who complained non-stop about the company. Everyone read the questions from the script, such as how to deal with conflict and how to deal with a disagreement with your boss. They also asked questions on your resume.

Interview
HR first calls you to make an appointment for a pre-screen call, which happens approximately 7 days after. The pre-screening call lasted around 30 minutes and plenty of questions were asked. The next stage is a technical interview with the hiring manager, if I'm not mistaken, but unfortunately I haven't been invited for it.

Interview
On video call asking about my experiences, they specifically went through my resume asking about projects and what interpersonal skills I learned from them. It was overall an accosting and inviting experience.
