I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company in Dec 2013
Interview
A recruiter contacted me via email to schedule a preliminary telephone interview for the Statistical Analyst position stationed in Indiana, but I ended up having to re-schedule the call three times due to confusion of different time zones from their side.
General questions like: 'How would you describe yourself?', 'What do you see yourself in 5 years?' , 'What are your strengths/weaknesses', were involved and answered enough to get me to the second round phone interview with 5 people from across the teams.
When it was time, I dialed into a cyber telephone-conference center and they dialed in about 15 minutes after the agreed time. For unknown reasons, only two people joined the session with haste.
Here came the interesting part of the interview, the interviewer cut me off of every single response that I wanted to give to the technical questions. There was no manner, no consideration, and no permitted time to think. At the end, I got hung up after taking a step back to say "Thank you for your time to interview me, and I really appreciate any consideration of this position".
