Incredibly unusual interview, with contradictions between HR and the hiring manager, the job description stating softwares to be used and that later in the interview are mentioned as unnecessary. The interview felt like a waste of time for a bureaucratic process with the candidate already decided well in advance, quite common and endemic in semi public companies in Spain: all arguments supporting the fit were turned around by the hiring manager in front of the area director to dismiss the candidate, completely turning around the meaning of the words the candidate was mentioning, contradicting themselves and generally feeling like a complete waste of time after months of selection process and behavioral and cognitive tests that took an hour. One of the most unprofessional interviews I’ve ever had.
