Interview
The online application system was quite simple to submit my resume. It allowed me to enter the employee's name, position & email address that had referred me.
I received a phone call a few days later, interviewed the following day. Received an offer by telephone, followed up by email the next day.
Enbridge makes use of the STAR, Behavioural interview technique. There were representatives both from the HR department and the business department that was hiring.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to handle a conflict with a coworker or direct report.
The difficulty about this question was in not knowing the hiring managers preference for dealing with employee issues. You know that the interviewers will make assumptions based on your past - how you behaved is how you will behave. But my same story could be presented with slight perspective tweaks to match the desired method, if only I knew their style

Interview
I had a very positive experience with the initial phone interview. HR person was professional, friendly, and well-prepared. The call lasted around 20 minutes and focused on my background, experience, and why I was exploring new opportunities. She gave a helpful overview of the role and explained the next steps clearly, which included a recorded video interview and a formal application submission.
She was transparent about the process and open to answering questions about team culture, the hiring timeline, and expectations. While she wasn't deeply technical (as expected from an HR role), she relayed insights from the hiring manager and asked thoughtful questions about my leadership style, collaboration experience, and project involvement.

Salary expectations, when can I start, why this role
Virtual interview. There was only one interview throughout the process,l. It took about 4 weeks total to hear back and onboard. Very positive and smooth experience, but did have to wait for 2 weeks for an answer from initial interview.

Process starts with a video interview where you record answers to questions, then can get scheduled for a live video interview. Overall the interview goes over relevant topics to the role.
