My first-round interview was conducted by HR, but the discussion felt quite surface-level. The interviewer did not seem to explore my motivations, my current responsibilities, or the technical aspects of my role in any meaningful way. As a result, it was difficult to understand what they were actually looking for, and the process did not progress to a second round.
I had the impression that the interviewer expected something very specific, though it was never articulated, and that they may not have fully understood the technical scope of my current position. Overall, the interview left me with limited insight into the role or the selection criteria.
