The Typical Interview Process
Initial Screening (15–30 mins): Usually a phone or video call with a recruiter or HR partner. It confirms interest, reviews high-level experience, clarifies compensation expectations, and identifies red flags.
First-Round/Technical Interview: A deeper, one-on-one, or panel interview focusing on core competencies, past experience, and specific job requirements.
Second-Round/Behavioral Interview: Often with hiring managers or team members, this stage uses behavioral ("tell me about a time") and situational ("how would you handle") questions to evaluate problem-solving and cultural fit.
