Was interviewed at a branch, dude was the head of the company, talked a lot about how `caring` EV is, how much employees `love working here` & you can `make good money`. I asked about the pay system and he wasn`t so talkative then I found out there`s no pay unless a student chooses you. Nada.
I applied online. I interviewed at English Village (Tokushima-shi) in Oct 2020
Interview
An online application followed up by an online interview over zoom.
Company asked some brief questions to confirm that the applicant wasn't lying on their application.
Company didn't give the applicant enough time to ask any questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at English Village (Shinjuku) in Feb 2020
Interview
Asked to come in for interview. The guy seemed upset I did not know it was a pay per lesson deal rather than salary, even though not mentioned in the advertisement. Nothing mentioned before interview about being required to stay all day at a place with the possibility of being paid nothing.
Contacted him later to say I would not take the position. "We weren't going to offer it to you anyway."
