I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (Fort Worth, TX) in June 2011
Interview
This is a three interview process. The third interview is just an acceptance interview. You are hired by another financial advisor who has formed a team (he is considered a VP). The Branch Manager meets with you in the 3rd meeting. Must obtain Series 7, Life and Health before beginning to work.

Question 1
Goals, Expectations, Ability to work with clients, Personal Appearance
Incredibly easy, they aim to hire anyone with a pulse to sell life insurance and annuities. Beware of the comp structure and ask about the bonus and override your manager will get from all of your work.
Very laid back. I was never asked any question about my job experience or any of the sorts. The interview consisted of a 15 minute conversation of small talk and getting to know the VP of the team you will be working under. The second stage was at the office location where you learn about the company and meet some of the staff.

Interview
Very easy interview, not too many questions they ask more listening to what they have to say about the role. Just know that you’ll have to find prospects on your own when starting off
