I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors
Interview
Very easy and simple interview questions. Be aware: on the interview you will not get the real picture of your compensation and training.
Now I wish I would never engaged in this gamble and never accepted this position.
Besides, something on the management level does not work in their hiring process: I was receiving phone calls and e-mails to apply for a Financial Advisor position at the time when I was on the pre-employment agreement with AXA (a few months after my initial interview).
Incredibly easy, they aim to hire anyone with a pulse to sell life insurance and annuities. Beware of the comp structure and ask about the bonus and override your manager will get from all of your work.
Very laid back. I was never asked any question about my job experience or any of the sorts. The interview consisted of a 15 minute conversation of small talk and getting to know the VP of the team you will be working under. The second stage was at the office location where you learn about the company and meet some of the staff.

Interview
Very easy interview, not too many questions they ask more listening to what they have to say about the role. Just know that you’ll have to find prospects on your own when starting off
