The recruiter called around 5:30 pm on a Monday and asked me some basic math and resume questions and was very forgetful, condescending, and incompetent. After the initial phone screening, she set up a time to call the next day and called promptly at the scheduled time. She asked irrational questions that had nothing to do with the position itself. The position is labeled as a finance internship but is actually a telemarketing role. The lady was intrusive and asked about what I made at all of my previous jobs (more than what I'd be making there). As far as I'm concerned, recruiters are no longer allowed to ask this question and she seemed to be following some outdated script. She also asked the same math question she asked on the initial phone screening to ensure that I know how to do some basic percentage question since knowing this is obviously crucial for the role of handling phone calls to attract existing and prospective clients. However, the internship has the potential of turning into a full-time role as a mortgage broker (if that's what you're into). The team is apparently all young graduates in their 20's. Save yourself the time and effort and apply elsewhere.
