I applied through university. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Esri (Redlands, CA) in May 2018
Interview
The interview process was not so much as difficult but challenges you want to be apart of the company. They are looking for your ability to communicate, problem solve, your passion for GIS and for the company. I think it was the best experience I've had. The interview process was long, however rewarding with each person you spoke with along the way. They are more focused on how much you really want the job and be apart of Esri. If you believe in the company and what Esri/GIS does the interview process will be a breeze for you. The process went like this
1: campus recruiter (30 mins) talk about you a little bit background information where you will be a good fit in the company
2: Behavioral interview (30-45 minutes) going over why you want the job etc.
3: Technical Interview (1 hour)
4: HR Interview
5: Redlands interview (8 interviews or more all day)
It was a long process from Feb-May so I may be getting the order mixed up. Ask questions, and be enthusiastic about the position! Overall a great experience it's a great company with passionate individuals. All the advice I got from Glassdoor was really helpful!
