I applied online, and had two interviews (I believe the entire course would have included an assessment stage and a panel interview in addition to the screening interview and one with the direct manager).
Both interviews were fine in the sense that I could not think of any glaring mistakes, although I thought I had a better conversation with the screening one and did not quite click with the direct manager. Afterwards I was still interested in the job but also was not as excited.
I did not advance after the second interview and politely followed up, hoping for some/any feedback since on paper I thought it really seemed like a good fit. This is where the experience was disappointing, with absolutely no acknowledgement whatsoever. I completely respect if no feedback can be given for whatever reason, but after having such great communication throughout the process, this seemed like this it was not such a difficult ask.
They did generally follow the timeline outlined to me, though, so at least I did not have to wait weeks on end to know I was not advancing or that there was a delay, etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
General questions about my background, what interested me in the position, what I would like to work/focus on, tools I had used, examples of certain situations presented to me, etc.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Evergreen Action in June 2024
Interview
Super friendly team, and I appreciated that they didn't make me do 5 million rounds of interviews consisting of the same questions. They were on top of scheduling and got me an answer on time. They were specific and actionable with feedback about why I wasn't selected.
