I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Everlight Solar (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2021
Interview
BEWARE! This company has horrible scammy business practices. They invited me to a weird scripted zoom interview where the interviewer flashed their camera once then shut it off for the remainder of the time. I was later invited to a second interview where I was told that there were multiple HR positions that I could choose from. They explicitly told me that I would be perfect for the HR role and that they would go over the final details if I was invited to a third interview. When I received the invitation for the third interview, it was for a customer service position. I of course asked for clarification which took days to get a response, and they said that they weren't hiring for ANY HR positions!!! At the same time, they had NEWLY posted HR positions listed on multiple job hiring sites. They clearly did a bait and switch on me and were really looking for customer service reps the entire time. I sent them an email letting them know how unprofessional their business practices are and that I would be writing a Glassdoor review to expose them. I gave them time to respond and provide any clarification and they decided to ignore me. So here it is! You all have been warned!
P.S. If this position even exists, they mentioned that it is an independent contractor role and salary paid.

Question 1
If you were a superhero, who would you be?
Are you a pro at using Apple products? Explain.
Give me an example of a problem you had and how you solved it.
What's the oddest thing you've ever had to organize?
What is your best friend like? How are you different?
I did not have an official interview, simply a screening on Zoom. I had my camera on but the person screening me did not. I was instructed when I scheduled this screening to not ask questions about the job because this wasn't an interview, but I ended up being prompted for questions at the end. Some of the questions felt like a prank, and the person running the screening informed me they had no knowledge about the position and no say in whether or not I would be hired, and also did not really acknowledge or respond to my attempts to connect with them on a human level. There was a very dystopian vibe about this screening. I ultimately was not offered a follow-up interview or a position, but the way some of these questions were phrased (very absurd and over-the-top) leads me to believe I would not accepted if I had been.

Do you think it's more important to focus on the details or on problem-solving? Which of those two do you need to improve upon more?

Interview
I just started the process I had to take an assessment that took around 20-30 minutes and I do my pre screening interview tomorrow so let’s see where this goes
Odd, seemed culty. I interviewed with a girl named Delaney. She briefly turned her camera on, and then turned it off "to save bandwidth". Started the call saying she has no details on the position and her only job was to facilitate the screening. Asked personal questions vs details about my work history. Seemed culty.
