I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ExpressVPN
Interview
HR reached out for a basic HR discussion asking salary and other expectations and then scheduled a technical interview~90 mins with the QA manager.
The tech interview happened in three parts: coding test, framework designing questions and resume dig.
The interviewer seemed impressed, and told me you'd get a feedback quite soon and what project interests you the most as we want to make sure we get you on the team that you benefit from as well.
The interview questions were average, based around tooling used, coding question around strings, sorting, arrays. It went quite well and I expected a further discussion if not an offer. But, I got a generic rejection email after 4 days (only after following up). I asked for specific feedback because I actually wanted to identify my weak areas and the HR just went MIA after that, standard practice nowadays.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We understand how much effort candidates put into the interview process, and we try to give thorough feedback to everyone. This is not the candidate experience we look to provide, and will be escalating this to the relevant teams. This feedback will be vital in helping us to improve for future interviews.
