FIRST Event Manager interview questions

I applied online then a Zoom call was set up. It was a very informal chat, if anytime too much. Lots of general chit chat when I just wanted to get into the interview, this person was not my friend but they were falsely acting like it. I talked through my experience, but was then told the role I have applied for has just been filled, but wanted to see me anyway and keep my details on file. The role was on Contract which I don't believe was in the job spec, otherwise I would not of applied. Also I was told the salary I am asking for is too much and I should lower it for jobs in this field. I was told the interviewer would keep my details on file as roles are always coming up, but I have never heard from them again. I didn't not even receive a thank you or decline email afterwards
