      Senior DevOps Engineer Interview

      21 Aug 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bengaluru
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at FalconX (Bengaluru) in Aug 2021

      Interview

The interview process was fine. There were 4 rounds. The first round included some scripting and then on AWS which was typically very easy. The second round was again scripting and had AWS and Kubernetes. This was taken by a developer and he asked very basic questions and was easy again. The third round was again on scripting and AWS VPC peering was asked to setup. It looked better than the last two and it was also pretty nice. All these rounds had lots of Linux and networking questions as well. The fourth round was set to be with CTO that too around 7 AM IST which felt odd but he wasn't available at any other time. I was notified just around 10PM via email, like 9 hours before that we have closed the position. That's just very lame excuse. It wasn't even a technical round but more of a discussion which had to be just easy again. The HR was very unprofessional in handling this. The same process was followed with other 2 friends in my circle. It's an org which just wastes time of the candidates. The interview process took 1 month which was a total waste of time. For one of the candidate they rejected saying that they wanted someone with database skills as well. If that's the case why not mention it on JD.
